Available in 7,000 lb. to 20,000 lb. G.V.W.R. models, a Demco trailer brake actuator is tough, safe and durable, and provides years of hassle-free service for just about any towing need.

Demco Trailer Brake Actuator Compatibility

Zinc plated and made for use in marine applications, the Demco DA66 drum and disc brake actuator is rated for 6,000 lb. G.V.W.R. with a 600 lb. tongue load and mounts on a 3" tongue with 2 1/2" by 4 1/2" grade 5 bolts and features a lever lock design. For disc brakes, a reverse solenoid and cover is included and requires power from the back-up lights on the tow vehicle.

The Demco DA86 drum and disc brake actuator for marine and light utility applications is zinc plated and rated for up to 8,600 lb. G.V.W.R. with an 800 lb. maximum tongue load or 10% of the G.V.W.R. of the coupler, vehicle, ball or trailer. Featuring our 2” EZ Latch coupler and large rollers in the rear, our DA86 is as easy to use as it is durable and include a reinforced outer case to prevent over tightening.

Available with a 2" slide-lok, 2 5/16”slide-lok, 2" EZ Latch, 2 5/16 EZ Latch, 8" 4 bolt channel and 12" 6 bolt channel and flat plate (no coupler) for drum and disc brakes, the Demco DA91 is rated for 7,000 and 8,000 lb. G.V.W.R. With an 800lb max tongue load or 10% of the G.V.W.R. of the coupler, vehicle, ball or trailer.

The DA10, which supports up to 12,500 lb. G.V.W.R. for disc and drum brakes, is also available with a 2 5/16" EZ Latch, as well as a flat plate, 6" 2 bolt channel, 8" 4 bolt channel and a 12" 6 bolt channel and a flat plate (coupler included only for EZ Latch).

The DA16 provides 16,000 lb. G.V.W.R. for weld-on and bolt-on mounts with a 1,600 lb maximum tongue load (10 percent of G.V.W.R.).

For large trailers, our DA20 is the option for you. With a 20,000lb G.V.W.R. this actuator is available in weld-on and bolt-on mounts. It also comes with a 50-degree A-frame weld-on mounting option. The DA20 has 3" inside dimensions and may be ordered with or without various couplers.

The do-it-yourselfers also appreciate our actuator kits for the DA91, DA10 and DA20. These come unprimed and unassembled for weld-on applications, making assembly easier after welding and painting has been completed. We also offer master cylinder replacements for disc and drum brakes, as well as solenoid conversion kits for all of our actuators.
